First OJ Simpson, now Casey Anthony
Author: Fillup Banks | Filed under: Entertainment, LifeThis has happened to me, I know it must have happened to you as-well. You go to a restaurant to enjoy a nice meal and you are sat with just a horrible excuse for person as your waiter. That is definitely one of my pet peeves, I really hate it. Sometimes I think “what can I do to get back at this person?”, I usually just leave them a bad tip or write in the tip-line “bad service” or whatever but nothing that I think is memorable.
Well, today I came across a post at SaveTheHumans.com entitled “40 Ways to F**k With a Bad Waiter” by Jason Roth that made me laugh for a while. Some of the tips are way out there, over the top, and too complicated with need of prep time. Here’s some of the ones that stood out to me…
- #8. Order the five most expensive entrees on the menu and request that they be pureed together and served with a straw.
- #13. Ask what’s so special about the day’s specials. When you get a satisfactory answer, ask the waiter to repeat the specials in perpetuity. Do not stop asking until you are physically thrown out of the restaurant.
- #14. Insist that the waiter brush his teeth before talking to you again.
- #15. Wear a walkman and read a newspaper at your table, completely ignoring the waiter. If he or she taps you to get your attention, swat off their hand.
- #16. Ask your waiter if there’s a “better waiter” that could serve you instead.
- #17. Tell the waitress that you’ve heard that some waitresses moonlight as prostitutes. Ask if she knows whether any of the other waitresses will go home with you, or if you’re stuck with her.
- #18. Ask the waitress how much of a tip she thinks she deserves. Demand that she give you a specific percentage. If she complies, yell “WRONG” in the most irritating voice you can manage. If she feels awkward about naming her own tip, tell her that you do, too, so you’ll just “skip that part”.

40 Ways to F**k With a Bad Waiter
Author: Fillup Banks | Filed under: Entertainment, LifeA guy named Glen Green, a company named Amazon Freight, and a Church Mission in Sweden, I know, it sounds like I’m about to tell a joke, but I almost got scammed! Yes, yours truly was almost had by a person who went by the name of “Glen Green”. As many of you know I supply most of South Florida with a printing service through a company called Tight Designs. What first struck me as odd what that most people want to talk to me on the phone, no matter how small the order is, and here is this guy, “Glen”, that I never even met before and he was ordering 60,000 prints for $3,500 and didn’t care to even ask a question. All he wanted me to do is contact a so called freight company named “Amazon Freight Company” who does business behind a free @gmail.com account. A red flag was raised, because typically, a real company will have their own domain name. I mean come on, you get a domain name for less than $10 a year. “Glen” wanted to send me money for the printing plus the shipping cost, then I would pay the shipping company.

As most of you may know I recently bought my first home back in June of 2010. Since then we have been working slowly, but surely to fix up the house. The major stuff is completed and I have been wanting to buy some artwork for my plain walls, but I didn’t want to just get anything. I didn’t want to purchase something that anyone has, it had to be unique, and also represent my lifestyle. Unfortunately, everything I found in that criteria was so expensive. I’m talking about $400 for just one frame. If I was an art connoisseur I would pay the money, but I’m not into art in that way. Fortunately, I was surfing the web and I found a website for wall art.
No, this is not a sponsored article like some of my writings. This is actually a product I’m genuinely endorsing because of its value.
I was looking for something abstract that said: “someone young lives here,” but my wife wanted something with flowers and the Calla Lilie is her favorite flower. The picture above is the actual “Red Sensation” Canvas Painting Set by Victor Young hanging in my living room. She thinks I bought it because it was her favorite flower, but in reality the price played a huge role in my decision. Only $120 and free shipping! Which brings me to another reason why I’m endorsing this company.
Usually when purchasing a product Online you click the checkout button and then you’re given a choice on which shipping method you prefer. Well that wasn’t the case because the shipping is free. It was Monday night and I had a party for my 30th birthday on Saturday, so I wanted to have the picture in by then. They usually ship the items in two business days and that wasn’t going to give me enough time. I called up their customer support line and told them my situation. Instantly they got on the order and I had my shipping tracking information within a matter of minutes.
The painting, which measures around six feet wide and three feet high, arrived on Friday at my doorstep and everyone who walked in had to comment on it. This experience really moved me where I had to share this with everyone. If you shop around you will see there’s no better vendor with a better price for the quality that Wall Art For Less provides.
